The one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management (PGDCQM) offered by the Coffee Board of India is designed to develop skilled professionals in coffee quality and value chain management. Delivered through its Coffee Quality Division in Bengaluru, the program blends theoretical learning with practical exposure, including a three-month training at the Central Coffee Research Institute in Chikkmagaluru.

As part of the curriculum, students engage with the industry through visits to cafés and roasteries, while gaining insights into roasting practices, packaging techniques, and promotional strategies, equipping them with a well-rounded understanding of the coffee sector.
